1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sosteunven website and car rental services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Eligibility

To use our car rental services, you must:

• Be at least 21 years of age (certain vehicle categories may require a higher minimum age)
• Possess a valid driver's license that has been valid for at least one year
• Have a valid credit card in your name for payment and security deposit purposes
• Meet our insurance requirements

3. Rental Terms and Conditions

The rental agreement between you and Sosteunven will begin when you pick up the vehicle and end when you return the vehicle to us, subject to the agreed rental period. The rental agreement includes these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any other documents referenced herein.

4. Reservations and Cancellations

Reservations

Reservations are subject to vehicle availability. We will confirm your reservation once we have received all required information and payment details.

Cancellations

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled pickup time: full refund
• Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pickup time: no refund

For premium and luxury vehicles, special cancellation policies may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.

5. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

When using our rental vehicles, you agree to:

• Only allow authorized drivers listed in the rental agreement to drive the vehicle
• Use the vehicle only for lawful purposes and in accordance with all traffic laws
• Not use the vehicle for any commercial purpose without prior written consent
• Not drive the vehicle outside of Singapore
• Not transport hazardous materials
• Not use the vehicle for any illegal activities
• Return the vehicle in the same condition as received, except for normal wear and tear

6. Fees and Charges

You agree to pay:

• The rental fee as specified in your reservation confirmation
• Security deposit (refundable upon return of the vehicle in acceptable condition)
• Additional charges for late returns (hourly rate applies)
• Cost of fuel if the vehicle is not returned with the same fuel level as when rented
• Cleaning fee if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty
• Traffic and parking fines incurred during your rental period
• Damage repair costs not covered by insurance

7. Insurance and Liability

All our rental vehicles come with basic insurance coverage. You have the option to purchase additional insurance coverage at the time of rental.

You will be responsible for any damage to the vehicle resulting from collision, theft, vandalism, or any other cause, up to the amount of the deductible specified in your rental agreement.

8. Accidents and Breakdowns

In the event of an accident or breakdown, you must:

• Contact the appropriate emergency services if necessary
• Notify Sosteunven immediately
• Obtain a police report for any accident
• Not admit fault or liability
• Collect information from all parties involved, including names, contact details, and insurance information
• Follow our instructions regarding vehicle recovery or repair

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Sosteunven website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Sosteunven or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of our content without our express written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sosteunven shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use our services.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of our services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If such negotiations fail, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Singapore in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
